The show tonight was great, the only downside being the set was only 40 minutes long. This was the best show of the festival this Friday in my opinion. (I had a run in with security during the Manchester Orchestra set, so maybe I'm biased.) Richard's voice was just more demanding tonight, sounded great. I'll try to remember the setlist off the top of my head.

New York City Hotel Blues - Sounded a lot more clean than recent acts, really enjoyed it.
Lets Paint our Teeth Green - I still haven't heard this song in good quality live it seems. =/ Love it though.
Pages Written on a wall - As stated before, one of my favorites with the new lineup.
Quiet as a Mouse - Sadly the set was so short, this had to be played this early.

Hey, is anyone going to the show on Saturday in Connecticut?
I want to try and go but I'm not sure if I'd be able to get in.
On the margot myspace it says students only, but I know sometimes
colleges arent that strict about it and sometimes you just need to know
someone who goes there to be able to get in.
Anyone here go there and are going to the show???
or does anyone have any more info on this show that could help me out??

Hi, all. I live in IA, about 20 minutes from Iowa City, and would love to catch this show, but there's no real info (address, venue, etc) on the MySpace page. Plus, I've never heard of Iowa City College? The University of Iowa is there, but that still doesn't say where they'd be playing...

If anyone knows anymore about this, can you please post ASAP (before tomorrow night)? I'd love to catch this show...

I think Epic should foot the bill for some Flaming Lips-esque special effects for the fest gig. How about some gigantic inflatable animals?

The bands will be playing short sets (ala Tonic Ball) and sharing a back line. Should be a great night, so come out and honor LP's life and work as well as help set aside some money for his son's education.

and i'm buying new taping (audio) equipment tomorrow! i hope it does well, gonna test it out at a few shows before the end of the month. pretty excited because it should be a whole lot easier to use than the creative nomad jukebox III that i used to use a few years ago (see early 2006ish shows).

i still haven't heard anything about the denton show as far as buying advance tickets go... does anyone else have any details?
