I've seen Margot six times so far and this show was hands down the best yet. The set list was nice and had a few songs I had not heard live. A light on a hill, there's a freakshow downtown, and a journalist falls in love. Had a really good turn out, the place was packed. The whole band had a lot more energy too(I'm guessing because they aren't on tour). The Vietnam war's were really good, very.. very different sounding. HotFox did a great job as well.

Although I was hoping you guys would play Black Demon! Definitely should consider it for the next tour.

I bought tickets with a lingering sense of uncertainty as to what to expect with all the changes underfoot. Having seen the past two shows with the old lineup, which are some of the best and most engaging shows I've been too, I was worried about the possibility of disappointment. Not to mention the possibility of older songs not being in the mix. Disappointment was avoided though, as an amazing (and more rocking) set was played, including killer versions of old classics like Quiet As a Mouse, as well as getting to hear the new material live, which was equally as impressive. Old members, new members, familiar or not, everybody on stage did an awesome job and belong where they are. Thanks for the kick ass show guys, and I hope you had a good night "off the wagon" Richard. Can't wait for you guys to roll back through Phoenix!

The band sounded incredible in Atlanta Saturday night...I wish I could say the same for the audience. During Talking in Code, one audience member's off key singing/shouting was so distracting Richard made "a face" which seemed to say "wow, that's awful". Also there were a few guys who felt it appropriate to whistle loudly before, during, and after songs...this band is loud, and I could still hear this whistling over the mix. I suppose I'd rather have an overly enthusiastic audience then a disinterested one...but no one wants to hear your ear-drum-bursting whistle...please take it to the NASCAR race.

Terrible audience aside, it was one of the most album diverse set lists I've seen them play...a great mix of new and old. Will you love me forever is a great opener, Quiet as a Mouse is a great energy booster when played mid-set, and this was the first time...

The show tonight was great, the only downside being the set was only 40 minutes long. This was the best show of the festival this Friday in my opinion. (I had a run in with security during the Manchester Orchestra set, so maybe I'm biased.) Richard's voice was just more demanding tonight, sounded great. I'll try to remember the setlist off the top of my head.

New York City Hotel Blues - Sounded a lot more clean than recent acts, really enjoyed it.
Lets Paint our Teeth Green - I still haven't heard this song in good quality live it seems. =/ Love it though.
Pages Written on a wall - As stated before, one of my favorites with the new lineup.
Quiet as a Mouse - Sadly the set was so short, this had to be played this early.
Skeleton Key - " " " " " " " ...

Real Naked Girls

Children's Crusade on Acid

Pages Written on a Wall

Cold, Kind & Lemon Eyes
Vampires in Blues Dresses
My Baby (shoots her mouth off)

Encore:
new song (something about hurricane winds... anyone have a recording? I don't want to have to wait to hear it again)
Hello Vagina
Barfight Revolution, Power Violence

The order of the main set is probably way off, but I think all of the songs are there.
