Hi folks,

Let's please not post download links on PKN for currently available Margot music. It's not like the band is rolling in the dough yet, so please support them by purchasing their albums, 7" singles, etc. If you want to download their music, do it elsewhere. These message boards were meant for discussion, not a place where random people can come download studio tracks for free. I have removed the active links for these types of downloads. I know that you all are just trying to be nice by offering these up, but let's keep it to songs that are okay to be shared. If you aren't sure if it's okay to share, send me a message and I'll confirm for you.

Understand that it is absolutely fine to share live songs that were recorded from live shows, and with decretion unreleased demos and songs as long as they're not supposed to be released on an upcoming album.

What is NOT okay to post: any studio song versions from Dust of Retreat, Animal!, Not...

i wanted to post this here so people could still see the demos post because i think they are delightful. But anyways, richard posted news on the new Vegetables record. It is as follows. Margot Posters - The Collection

Well, I got to thinking... these have been posted all over these forums, so I'll put them in one place, right here. Not only that, but I found some new designs that I need to track down the artists on. I am obsessed with posters, especially related to Margot (duh), and as I was framing some of them this weekend and hanging them up, I realized that there are some that aren't on gigposters.com either, so I guess I'll post pictures.

Please feel free to post posters here... past, present, future, whatever. I'd just like to have a reference for all Margot posters ever printed if possible, haha, which is probably impossible, but at least we'll have a good collection going.

I know that Speck has lots of them, many being his own designs... as well as Kristen (ewiggy), who had designed two posters a while ago: one for Florida (the Orange magazine party) and California (I think, with the girl in tights and mary janes?) that I'd die to have copies...

Does anybody have an mp3 of "A Tangle of Blonde?" I'm having trouble finding one and I've heard it's a great song.

I also ran across mention of a song called "Catherine, I'm in the Arms of a Woman I Hardly Know" which I've never even heard of.

that's right, i'm bringing it back! this is still one of my favorite margot songs, and it didn't make it on the new albums... but i stumbled across another one of marshall's videos this morning, and it's a GREAT recording of this song back from 2006.

Margot is featured on the interface right now with an interview and two performances with Erik, Emily, and Richard. They are lovely. They perform "Tall as Cliffs" and "Lightning Rod." You should check the interface out every week, its a very good site.
