There is now a very high quality, live multitrack recording of Margot at The Irving Theater in Indianapolis. This was an all-ages show that had an attendance of something like 850 people. This show was recently mixed down & approved by the band for upload to the Musicalfamilytree website.

So the Cheap Motel Room thread got me thinking...

Are there any more Margot songs that I've missed? I'm not talking about live performances because I got those but demos/etc.

You should post the april 4th show, where you retired broadripple is burning. That was the best I've heard it since before the patio shut down.

Are we allowed to post random mp3's for downloading or is that not allowed. I tried searchin' around to see if this has been posted but I didn't see anything. Just thought a random download thread might be cool. If someone could please let me know if that's cool or not.............And does anyone know if any of the past recordings are going to be uploaded. I'd really appreciate it guys. I just stumbled across this sweet site not too long ago so most of the links don't work anymore. Thanks for the sweet stuff dudes......

Conventionally it's considered "unacceptable" to trade shows in mp3 format, but considering that this show was sent to me by the taper in AIFF format (not flac like I'd originally requested), I'm going to assume it's okay to share this in mp3, since AIFF is roughly equivalent.

yeah, sorry it took so long guys. i had to upgrade a bunch of software... switch it all from a pc to a mac... blah, blah, blah. it has been right at a year since i've done any converting/tracking shows, so i had to refresh my memory on how to do it all.

anyways, without further ado, here's the first of the 6 that i taped. as of this moment, i've got 2 of them ready, but i'll be out of town the next 2 days... so look for the other 4 later this week.

i'll be taping all 4 SXSW shows as long as it's allowed. can't wait!

i know, i know, i haven't released the other (texas) shows yet, but i still have them... gotta put them online. all of the shows (from other artistis) that i've ever taped were uploaded to a dedicated tracker, so i'm trying to find a place to host these. i'm looking into starting up my own tracker, but it's kinda involved, to put it lightly. but i promise that i will put them ALL up when i get back from austin!!
