yes. try them! they are my fav and i've rarely ever gotten to have them. take pics! they might not be as spiney as those pics i posted, the ones i had were still roughly skinned, but not spikey

wow, i so want to try leche now! haha, well maybe not after that "huge fruity eyeball" comment... kidding. i just need to go to central market and try a bunch of fruits i've never even heard of and then post about them here.

i've mainly had it overseas, first in taiwan, then in london, but the best was taiwan cause they'd literally be only an hour off the tree. we didnt know what to call them at first and since they were all attached to big bundles of sticks we dubbed them "fag fruit" and then later we decided they looked more like cherries and started calling them "not-quite-cherries" that lasted about 3 or 4 days until we were finally able to find someone who could tell us what we'd been eating. okay and this may sound gross but its SOO delicious, its like a mix between a cherry and a grape, with a big seed in the middle and it feels like you're eating a huge fruity eyeball. haha amazing! i need more.....
