I should be attending the Troub show if all things work out. I know there have been other boardmembers that have talked about attending one if not both of
those shows.

not to rub it in anyones face...but it was so good totally worth driving in from vegas, seeing the show, then sleeping 2 hours just to drive back at 3 in the morning and take a midterm exam in the morning |

man, 8 times would be so killer. I've only seen them twice, and the last time was over 2 years ago. But they never come to Vegas so I always end up
spending lots of money trying to get out to california.
totally worth it. I thought the set list was spread pretty evenly among the 3 albums. There was a little bit of emphasis on Animal! but not as much as you would think. I know they opened with at the carnival and both encore songs were from dust of retreat. |

they opened with there's talk of mine shafts followed by at the carnival. im a little bummed they didnt play cold kind lemon eyes or german motor car, but
im glad they played mariels brazen overture.
not sure of the order but they played: theres talk of mine shafts at the carnival mariels brazen overture as talk as cliffs shivers pages written on a wall broadripple a children's crusade on acid my baby (shoots her mouth off) o what a nightmare! love song for schubas bartender skeleton key vampires in blue dresses quiet as a mouse talking in code on a freezing chicago street. im sure theres one or two i missed, but there was an annoying drunk lesbian who was the only bad part of the night. im really surprised they didnt play barfight revolution as the last song. i love how detailed they were playing as tall as cliffs where they knocked around a metal can and it went perfectly with the song. |

casey was doing his own thing with his percussion tree, but it was all tyler and hubert. so first tyler took out a metal can from behind an amp and started hitting it a little, he then proceeded to drop it where hubert and tyler were kicking that can around for a little. |
