newport on the levee is literally right across the street (it's a mall). dewey's pizza is there, and that's one of my favorites. there's a few
small cafes and stuff around, as well as the big expensive restaurants as well, depends on what you're looking for...

last night was bittersweet. great show... long setlist. they played the first half of animal in order. but i guess the sad news was that they have no clue when
they're coming back out on the road, so it was a goodbye for now. richard spoke of a new book he's writing, of jokes, laughingly mentioning that the
front row was his target audience.
 said it would retail for $17.99, hahaha. they played paper kitten nightmare, which was cool. lots of people there at the
show, lots of singing along to the new songs too, which made me happy.
oh, and i finally got some merch!! they had the bicycle shirts and the hoodies! yay, thanks margot! i taped (audio) the show, gotta see how it turned out, i was up pretty close this time, so not sure how the sound will... sound. for those that came over afterwards... i keep finding freaking cheetos everywhere! haha. good times. |

i saw you christie and i was going to ask where a denny's was, i need fuel for the drive, but i couldn't seem to find you, i was like 3 people over
from you, but yeah, i saw that news coming, but they all seemed to be at peace with it all. And oh my god did everything, now! put on a show. You could tell
they loved the turnout. But seriously what a show.

They were incredible! It bittersweet for sure, I just hope it isn't too long before they come around again. Hopefully other projects will keep me from
missing them too much. I was so glad people were singing too! The last show I was at, nobody was singing anything.
I am wearing the hoodie right now. I was so happy when I saw them. On the way home I was just telling my friend that I always wanted someone to record a show I was at, so that's awesome! Thanks! |

glad you guys had fun too! aww taylor, i wish you would've said hi! that's twice now that we've missed each other.
i have a few shows that i've recorded stockpiled away to hold us over... you know, sounds like it might be a good time to start listening to some of them to see if they turned out. hehe. |
