i'm not sure where people get the idea that "christian" means "racist" in fact NONE of my christian friends ever make race a big deal, while ALL my liberal friends who are the "tolerant" ones are always making racist comments, jokes, or slurs. somewhere in there the media is trying to convince the world that all christians are ignorant racists who bomb abortion clinics. what happened to the world when the religious group which founded this country, one of the few groups who stick to their morals and have a strong will. christians are being treated as a different race, an inferior race. and you are technically being "racist" by perpetuating that stereotype. sorry, i'll get off my high horse, but seriously, this country was founded, mostly by christians, with the idea that this country would be a land where anyone could believe whatever they wanted to, so why are christians the ones the country has decided they dont want to be tolerant of? its as if our country wants a "religicide," wipe out anyone who has a strong belief they arent just keeping to themselves. i say if you have a strong belief, no matter waht it is, you should share it, but so many people are only focused on being right, no matter what side, that EVERYONE ends up being closed minded. and no one sees each other as the intelligent, logical people both sides truely are. sorry, i dont mean to put words in your mouth, please call me an idiot if you disagree, but i'll just ignore you if you dont have a good counter argument, haha.

with all of that said yeah his voice is a little overkill, but he has his moments. and my take on "christian music" is that its generally a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy of a mediocre song. generally over produced and over marketed, sold under the positive "clean" image, like you said, taylorbw. i dont think labeling your music as "christian" is a gimmick as much as it is trying to appeal to a different audience. and you might not be part of that audience. and i'm not seeing where he claims he's a christian artist, though looking through the other song titles i get that idea.

sorry for the rant, but i've been hearing so much anti-christian talk recently, and it being easter and all i figured i should defend their right to believe what they want, and to discount absurd statements, such as christianity=racism. remember over 50% of our country CLAIMS to be christian, and we did elect obama.
