Well hello there... welcome to paperkittennightmare.com!! Feel free to read through anything and everything that interests you in these forums, and we encourage you to post your thoughts too!
If for some reason you ever have any troubles getting to this site, you can always use p097.ezboard.com/bpaperkittennightmare as another route.
Below I've outlined some general rules to observe when using message boards. If you are new to the idea of posting on a message board, I encourage you to pay special attention in order to save you some potential confusion.
--It's always a good idea to read through several threads and posts to get a general idea and feel for this board before you actually start posting. It's considered a common courtesy to refrain from starting threads simply to indicate that you are new to the boards. Let us know about that in an existing thread instead.
--Please refrain from posting gossip if at all possible. We'd like to keep this community as a resource for the many fans of Margot & the Nuclear So and So's to meet fellow fans, and learn more about the band and their music. We do not care about what kind of boxers Richard wears, or if Andy is dating your sister's best friend's aunt. In other words, let's stick to the facts.
--Try to remember to keep a good sense of humor around here... most of us are cool, and we occasionally throw in a little sarcasm, so please don't take it personal. It is ONLY a message board.
--Please try to keep signatures to a minimum length, as some posters may get annoyed with scrolling through pages of repeated images/signatures. Again, this is just a common courtesy observed in most forums.
--I know that the search button isn't always cooperative, but it's usually a good idea to so a quick search, or go back a few pages, to see if your topic has already been covered before deciding to start a new one.
--Please be respectful of others. Sure, disagreements and controversies may arise, but the goal is for everyone to remain respectful. Keep in mind that message boards are open to people of all ages, and even though you have to be a registered member to post, anyone with access to a computer can visit this site and read all they'd like without ever being registered.
--If someone starts a topic, please don't make a separate thread to post a response, as this only clutters up the forums, and makes topics more difficult to find.
--Please attempt to post topics in the forums that are appropriate. If you accidentally started a topic in the wrong forum, a moderator may come along and move your thread to the correct forum, so keep that in mind if your topic suddenly disappears from the forum you posted it in.
--SPAMMING IS UNACCEPTABLE. If a spam post is made, I will make sure that it gets deleted, closed, or edited to my standards. An important note: this includes musicians. If you are a musician, feel free to post in the musician's forum to obtain feedback about your music.
Finally, please be aware that the administrators/moderators have the ability to enforce the rules described above. While consequences can be enforced, they are not usually encountered. Threads/posts will very rarely get deleted, edited, or closed unless it is something very offensive in nature or a personal argument that needs to be resolved elsewhere. Again, this is uncommon. Threads/posts will ALMOST never be deleted for an opinion, although the option is always there if it strays from the posted rules.

A note about the member titles... these are the titles that appear below your user name. These titles change based on how many posts you have made, and have been set-up already. If you decide to become a frequent poster on this board, I will assign you with a custom title as soon as I can think of something funny enough. Let me know if you have a certain request.
With all of that said, the band and I want this to be a fun place to discuss music and other topics. All of these rules that have been stated are really just to help maintain some sort of organization within this community. If you ever come across a post or thread that you find offensive or think that the content violates the rules listed above, please feel free to contact me or any of the other moderators. Most of the time, one of us will catch it and take care of it, but we do lead normal lives also, and can't always keep an eye on the boards 24/7.
So, if you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to send me a message through my ezInbox (also known as PMing), or shoot me an email. Remember that this is all done for the fans, and you all play an integral part in making sure we enjoy this resource and have a great community here at PKN.
Thanks so much!
