sorry to keep posting in this forum... geez.

but i was just thinking. i guess i haven't really even been using etree for a while because of sendspace/yousendit. of course, that's probably due to the fact that any shows i've been downloading lately have been in lossy format (i.e. mp3). i guess you still need a site like etree if you like to trade in shn and flac.

just an observation. i say this as i've got stacks and stacks of burned live shows in shn and flac formats, that i only used to convert to wav and then mp3 or whatever so i could listen to it on itunes. hey, mp3 takes up WAY less space! tapers hate people like me (even though i was a taper myself). having said that, i never trade in mp3, so yeah. i'm rambling.

i recently sold my taping equipment to this really nice guy in north carolina, and he asked if i had an etree page. i was like, "oooh, yeah, i used to!" so that's funny that this was brought up, because i hadn't even thought about trading in a loooooooooong time. cool.

ooh, totally! that's how i got most of mine too. then i learned how to use torrents finally, haha.

these shows came to me in the mail today! eek! they're in flac, so i'm converting them right now... can't wait to give them a listen!

i'm thinking the 10.17 show should have "payphone" on it, and we'll finally have an audio version of it! i'll let you guys know...
