1.) Rogue Wave is an amazing band. If you've never listened, do so immediately! I've had the pleasure of seeing them live three times (once with Nada Surf=one of the best shows of my life). Really cool guys...and they play musical chairs with their instruments during shows which automatically makes them awesome. 
2.) As posted on Margot's myspace and probably also known to fans of the band, Pat (the drummer/sometime bassist/sometime everything) has been having some serious health issues and needs a kidney transplant. The band and friends have been doing some benefit shows, etc. for a while. Anyway, for the latest shows in San Fran in September, they had exclusive merch which they are now selling online. I was pretty bummed I couldn't make it up for the show, but I bought a t-shirt (the design is really interesting, I like it a lot) and all the proceeds go to Pat.
