I could continue spending an hour walking around the video store to find the perfect rental, or maybe you could suggest one, or two?

Backdoor Sluts Nine is a timeless classic.

I've never seen Backdoor Sluts Nine, but I can vouch for Backdoor Sluts Eight.
I just saw the movie "Manic". It's a pretty intense flick with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel and others in this youth mental institution. Though you should probably be in a slightly depressed mood before you get into it. Or...well, you will be anyways by the time it's over. But it's a great movie. |

I was supposed to see BenX last night. Got there too late, no decent seats left. I will give Manic a search... ;)
hkevlar said: Richard, will you be the father of my children? Not sure how that works since i'm a guy but we can figure out
the details later.
and then Richardedwards said: and yes, I will father your kids. and hkevlar said: Great! I need to start the baby making process. (joke translator: this joke is funny owing to the redundancy of hkevlar signature quoting Richardedwards reply found in my signature) |

The Happiness. (No, not the pursuit of)
You, Me, and Everyone We Know. Backdoor Sluts 5 was pretty good. I am looking forward to the hollywood caliber performances of parts 8 and 9. |

You, Me, and Everyone We Know was good. I remember seeing Palindromes around the same time. Not as good, but interesting.

Let me say that Brick is only okay.
I know too many film school nerds that swear by that movie. And don't get me wrong, I think it's good, and I consider myself a film nerd, but it is simply only okay. The Happiness is a film that must be seen though. If you appreciate film at all. Oh, and UE, I've heard good things about Palindromes, is it worth a shit? I mean, at least one watch? |

i watched lars and the real girl last night. loved it.
and speaking of dreams: i woke up at about 4:30 am with a weird dream and i was pretty sure i'd remember it so i just wrote down the key words: "margot and the nuclear so and so's" "cell regeneration" and "cervix". i can't remember the dream much except that andy, richard, emily, and tyler kept yelling "penis". i have no idea what cell regeneration and cervixes have to do with anything.... |

I don't want to say that Palindromes was an awful movie because it's not fresh in my mind.
You know, we usually talk about the movie when walking out of the theatre. Sometimes the discussion is a few minutes long, sometimes it can last hours. I think that after seeing Palindromes, the conversation revolved around "Coffeehouse or your place?" so… UE PS: jen and tonic, do you think your dream has anything to do with Lars and the real girl? One movie that I've watched a couple of times this month is Snatch. It's my solution to emo overload.

My Solution to emo overload is airsoft gunning.
I mena... I hate all of these gun types who go out and play war games with arisoft guns. There are a bunch of bumpkins round about my parts who do that. But I love just having a good old fashioned shoot out. As for good hollywood films this year... I loved Speed Racer. I thought it was better than Crystal Skull and Iron Man so far. But I am overly excited about Dark Knight. Mainly because I'm a DC fanatic. As for indie films, I really want to see the Go-Getters, which is finally being released. Oh, and suggest anyone who hasn't pick up the British film, "Cash Back", which is exceptional. |

i LOVED lars and the real girl. to disagree i'd say taht i liked iron man more, i havent seen crystal skull and i'm sorry but i felt like speed racer
was a 15 min plot thrown into a full length movie, the race scenes had more plot than the drama and the fight....maybe it was just my friend and i who thought
that though ,we watche dit online to see if we wanted to actually pay money for the full screen and skipped almost everyhting except the race scenes caues it
just went nowhere but took the long road to get nowhere. but then again i did LOVE the race scenes
Old Boy. watch it. this was the spark that got me thinking of a crazy movie idea, could be huge. we'll see, but i'm gonna do SOMETHING with it. also see wristcutters, and king of california |

Damn, you people have good taste in movies! Every one of these films is amazing.
I agree with you Zissou--Cash Back was really great. Brought new meaning to the term "art film"...And I wanna see The Go-getter too! |

Hmmm, if you havent realized that Edward Norton is a beast, and that The new Hulk is going to be great, you should now.

Except they took out what could have been an amazing scene.
Bruce Banner was considering killing himself in the antartic, where no one will be able to take his body and analyze it. And before he does, he meets a man... a man named Steve Rogers. (if anyone knows who Steve Rogers is, this scene becomes a fanboy's dream) Apparently it was too dark for children, Marvel felt. |

I had never heard of that scene but it sounds amazing. I was never a huge captain america fan but that would tie in well.

Between Palindromes and Ben X, I suggest Palindromes.
Between Lars and the real girl and Ben X, I suggest Lars and the real girl. Between The Master of Disguise and Ben X, I suggest Ben X. Gonzo: The Life and Work? |

I'm not sure if you'll be able to find it, but Four Eyed Monsters is nice. You could probably find it online somewhere or see it on IFC.
The clock is ticking, that's for certain.
